The catch is the ceiling on ambition. Servers cap at six players, so big collaborative parks are hard to organize, and the early money curve is slow enough that your first hour is mostly small rides and patience. Push through it.

2. Restaurant Tycoon 3

It is also the most aggressively monetized pick here. Nothing is locked behind Robux that you cannot reach by playing, but the game asks often, and the newest cosmetics land in the shop before they land in the progression. Younger players should agree a budget before starting.

3. Retail Tycoon 2

Retail Tycoon 2 by Secondhand Studios is the closest thing on Roblox to an actual business sim. You set prices, restock shelves from a truck bay, hire staff who can be bad at their jobs, and lose customers when the checkout line gets long. It has passed 334 million visits.

The store layout matters more than the decorating, which sets it apart from most of the platform. Aisle placement changes how long people spend inside, and a badly placed entrance quietly costs you a third of your revenue.

The problem is momentum. The last real update landed in April 2026 and concurrent players sit around two thousand, well behind the top of the list. Take this one if the word tycoon usually bores you. Lumber Tycoon 2 by Defaultio barely follows the format at all. There is no drop-collecting loop. You chop trees in an open world, haul the wood back yourself, and build a base out of what you cut.

The logistics are the game. Getting rare wood from the far side of the map back to your mill without wrecking your truck is a genuine planning problem, and the community has spent years documenting routes for it.
